A beautiful series by photographer Yufei Ma. Born in Henan Province, China, Ma currently lives and works in Shanghai and New York. He graduated from the School of Visual Arts in New York with a Bachelor’s degree in Photography and Video. Ma’s works are often inspired by personal memories, emotions, and life situations. Offering personal reflections on the past and present, he explores the easily overlooked moments in everyday life.

“Endless Dreams” captures the emotional and spatial gaps in the rapidly expanding yet hollowing city of Zhengzhou. Through unpopulated cityscapes—abandoned malls, half-built towers, and fading public spaces—the project reflects on the condition of youth living with uncertainty, detachment, and limited futures. It documents these urban margins not as backdrops, but as emotional landscapes shaped by disillusionment and delay.
