This series of paintings explores the intersection of hyperrealism and contemporary symbolism through the depiction of female portraits partially concealed by gold leaf and textures. The masks are a metaphor for identity, transformation, and the tension between appearance and essence. My aim is to create images that feel both fragile and powerful, combining classical oil painting techniques with modern visual narratives.
