In these recent drawings (both editorial and personal) I like to play with the line, layering of images, and mixing of the colour within the layers. Looking for visual poetry in ordinary topics, the handling of simple drawn lines helps me to bring a rhythm, movement and feeling.

I can certainly trace some inspiration from children's drawings, the cave paintings and carvings, and the joy of the drawing process itself.
