I use drawing, painting, and the computer to create visual art that speaks to those who feel in-between. Culture often starts as a blanket of safety but can devolve into a performance, or a formulaic way of acting. I believe identity isn’t a costume or canon, it’s layered, liminal, and evolving. My work challenges the idea of cultural purity.
