‘I Hope This Finds You Well’ reflects on contemporary anxieties. This common email greeting is typically followed by stressful and unresolved issues, serving as the starting point for this work. The artist chose a huge, mirrored balloon with three distorted faces, standing at the same height (164cm) as herself, as the symbolic representation of anxiety. She lived with this large object in her apartment for 42 days, documenting her daily interaction with this embodiment of anxiety through her camera, reflecting on her experiences. As a crucial part of the narrative, the photos will eventually be meticulously folded into envelopes and dispatched. The tangible, stamped, and sealed letters perfectly echo the title and the starting point of the project.

This conceptual work probes the conditions of financial anxiety through an assemblage of materials sourced exclusively from algorithmically targeted social media posts offering free samples. The process of composition becomes a negotiation with personal anxieties—a subtle choreography between precarity, ephemerality, and uncertainty. Hovering between fragility and order, the work gestures toward a deliberately tenuous structure: a two-dimensional architecture that holds, within its flattened frame, a longing for an intensified, utopian imaginary.
