I work predominantly in sketchbooks using brushpen and ink capturing commuters and bystanders who are, more often than not, totally absorbed in their phones—oblivious to me studying them.
The unforgiving nature of the brushpen means my work is immediate, bold and loose—a moment caught with no opportunity for reworks.
